History

Santé Ventures was founded in 2006 and has $132 million under management in its debut fund. While our name may be relatively new, our history is not. The founding partners of Santé previously ran Ascension Health, one of the largest healthcare systems in the country with $12 billion in revenue; created  Ascension Health Ventures I, a $125 million corporate healthcare venture fund; and helped establish a healthcare practice at Austin Ventures, a top-tier venture firm with $3.9 billion in capital under management. The Santé team has collectively invested over $125 million in more than two dozen healthcare ventures over the last decade, generating a proven track record of successful portfolio companies.
